Cupcakekitty Ragdolls ~ Home of the Healing Purr

In January 2015, our cats moved to the beautiful California Redwoods. We have all settled well. If needed, we continue to bring our kittens to Tacoma, WA, on specific dateswhen they’re ready to go to their new homes. We can also deliver to the San Francisco Bay area, Redding, Sacramento, and places in between. We ship from SFO and from the nearby regional airports.

Please Note

Because there are so many excellent informative websites available, we don't have specific breed info here. This site is designed for those who already have their heart set on finding a non-traditional ragdoll kitten.

You may not know this, but every ragdoll kitten chooses its human being(s) and sends them special magical and telepathic messages even from great distances. Naturally, you don't have to believe this to adopt and love a ragdoll cat!

We hope you'll enjoy the pictures posted here. Should you hear a kitten calling, we look forward to hearing from you!

About Us

We are a small TICA registered hobby cattery located in Humboldt County, California. Our Ragdolls are full members of our family, never caged, and receiving a lot of love and attention every day. Although registered and show quality, our breeder cats don't do shows and beauty pageants. They are non-traditional mink and solid ragdolls, and their kittens come in multitudes of colors and patterns, some recognized as traditional, some not. Bun Bun is an example of a seal bicolor mink, pictured here in her short summer coat.

Our Goals

First and foremost, we aim to breed for health and the sweet temperament Ragdolls are famous for. All our breeders are healthy, HCM-negative, and screened for genetic health.

Another important goal of ours is to promote awareness of the innate therapeutic abilities these cats have. Our older breeder cats (including Bun-Bun here on the left and Astrid and Muffin below) have been involved in Animal Assisted Therapy and have patiently worked with special needs children and youths. As we all know, cats may heal their own ailments and even broken bones by simply purring. No wonder that their presence makes human beings feel better and can, according to studies, even lower our blood pressure!

We have signed the TICA Code of Ethics in 2012 and are committed to meeting 'excellent' ratings for an 'Outstanding Cattery' (TICA Voluntary Responsible Breeder Program)!
